1. Agreement to Terms
By subscribing to or using Attendant AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Attendant AI, LLC, an Alabama limited liability company ("Attendant AI," "we," "us," or "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Attendant AI provides AI-powered phone answering services for self-storage facilities. The Service includes:
- An AI voice agent that answers inbound phone calls to your facility
- Call transcription, recording, and analytics
- Tour booking and SMS notifications
- A web-based dashboard for managing calls, settings, and reports
The Service is designed to supplement, not replace, human management of your facility. You remain responsible for all business decisions, customer relationships, and facility operations.
3. Subscription and Billing
Pricing: The Service is billed at $299 per month per facility, flat rate. There are no per-call fees, setup fees, or hidden charges.
Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial.
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
Price Changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current rate for at least 90 days after a price change announcement.
4. Your Responsibilities
As a subscriber, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate facility information (pricing, hours, policies, unit details) during onboarding and keeping it current
- Complying with your state's call recording consent laws and configuring your AI agent greeting accordingly
- Responding to tour bookings and callback requests in a timely manner
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your dashboard login credentials
- Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Reviewing AI-generated call responses periodically to ensure accuracy
5. AI Limitations and Disclaimer
Our AI agent is designed to provide helpful, accurate responses based on the facility information you provide. However:
- The AI may occasionally misinterpret caller requests or provide imprecise responses
- The AI will not fabricate account-specific data (gate codes, unit numbers, account balances) — it will direct callers to you for account-specific inquiries
- The AI is not a substitute for legal, financial, or emergency advice
- Call quality depends on the caller's phone connection and ambient noise
You acknowledge that no AI system is perfect and agree that Attendant AI is not liable for any business loss resulting from AI errors or misunderstandings during calls.
6. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, occasional downtime may occur for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance when possible. If the Service is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to an issue on our end, you may request a prorated credit for the affected period.
7. Data Ownership
Your Data: You own all facility information you provide and all call data generated by your facility's use of the Service (transcripts, recordings, analytics, tour bookings).
Our Use: We may use anonymized, aggregated data (with no facility or caller identifying information) to improve the Service's AI models and overall quality. We will never share your identifiable data with competitors or use it for purposes unrelated to providing and improving the Service.
Data Export: You may export your call data at any time from the dashboard. Upon account closure, we will provide your data in a standard format upon request.
8. Intellectual Property
Attendant AI retains all rights to the Service's software, AI models, dashboard interface, and underlying technology. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your facility operations during the subscription period.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Make outbound telemarketing or spam calls
- Collect personal information from callers for purposes unrelated to your facility operations
- Violate any applicable telecommunications laws or regulations
- Reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to extract the AI models or source code
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
- Use the Service for any facility or business type other than what was disclosed during onboarding
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attendant AI's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost rentals, or business interruption.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Attendant AI against claims arising from your facility's use of the Service, your facility information, or your violation of these terms or applicable laws.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. We will provide reasonable notice before termination except in cases of egregious violations. Upon termination, your access to the dashboard will be revoked, but you may request an export of your data within 30 days.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Jefferson County, Alabama.
